Kate printed out all the photos that she took from her hard disk and scratched them to tiny pieces as dust, mix them with paraffin. The light green color is created by these two elements combined, and the shape is inspired by Japenese sign ensō (円相 “circle”), a circle that is hand-drawn in one or two uninhibited brushstrokes to express a moment when the mind is free to let the body create.
